These are mostly blueberry Farms - I'm having a hard time finding PYO
farms for other fruit and vegetables in Mississippi, so if you encounter
any, please email me at the address at the bottom of the page!
We also have our own free and
simple, step-by-step,
illustrated
instructions on canning, freezing and drying many fruits and
vegetables, such as how to make jam,
apple
butter, applesauce,
spaghetti
sauce, salsa,
pickles,
ketchup or
freezing
corn . If
you are looking
for Canners,
mixes, jars, pectin and other canning supplies at the best prices anywhere!
I'm always
looking for suggestions of more farms and
events to add and feedback about any you have visited, so if you encounter any,
just click on the preceding link, as appropriate! And if you have a farm and want to
add it or correct the
information, please click on the link to "add my farm".
NOTE: Obviously, with hurricane Katrina's damage, many farms may be out of
operation, but those who are still operating need your business. Please
call before you go, and if they're open, give them your business. And if you
live near a farm listed here and can provide a update, I will be sure to include
the information here! Blake
Feedback
Remember: ALWAYS call (or follow the link to the farm's own website, if the name
is a blue link) to confirm the information before you go! They may close,
run out or change events, times, etc. without notifying me!

farm this year and would like to tell everyone how great this farm is. They
have a variety of vegetables such a corn, peppers, peas butter beans,
eggplant, and tomatoes. The fields are clean with walking and driving paths.
You drive in and pick to your hearts content. The only problem is trying to
leave. There is so much to pick its hard to quit. Everyone is extremely
friendly and the prices are great. Their tomatoes are some of the best I
have ever had. It was well worth the drive. I canned over 100 quarts of
tomatoes in various ways . Told you it was hard to leave, there were so many
big beautiful tomatoes I just could not help myself. Also they have already
picked for you watermelons, tomatoes, cantaloupe, corn and onions. If locals
have not tried this farm they need to do so next year, they won't be
disappointed. "
