At many Christmas tree farms, there's lots to do in addition to getting a fresh tree! Organic farms are still not common, but any that are, have the word ORGANIC by their name! Behind the town hall the land has a gate and there you find buckets for PYO. A visitor writes: "The sour cherries are quite a walk up the hill, but the kids loved the ladders in the trees, down below are the blueberry bushes for later in the season. We did not see any "farm stand", but the owner has a cherry pitter available set up on a table, and the kids had great fun turning the handle. Does not seem to be open all the time, just at the peak picking times. No signs outside, unless they are open and have unlocked the gate. Just a cash deal for each bucket, no restrooms or anything else. Also very close to Woodstock town, and not far from the general store "Tegos". "

The store also holds our fresh cider, cider doughnuts, maple syrup, honey, fudge, Grafton cheese, a variety of jams, relishes, and gift items. Enjoy the haunted house inside the store that is open September first through November first. We have a spooky Hollow ride that begins the first Friday in October through and including Halloween night.
