It looks like most festivals are returning, aside from those that were killed off by the lockdowns of the past 2 years. That took a heavy toll on their finances. I am checking with them day by day, if you have an update for an, please tell me via the Feedback form.

2024 Georgia Strawberry Festivals - Where, When and More Details!

There are two general types of strawberry festivals 1) community festivals, usually organized by a church, school, local Chamber of commerce or a town and 2). Strawberry festival held at and by a farm

They are different in what they offer, so they are grouped separately. (of course not all states and areas have both. And following the festival listings are links to our easy to follow directions about making strawberry jam, freezing strawberries, strawberry pies and much more.

  • Georgia Strawberry Festival - Saturday in Late April (April 23, 2022)
    Downtown Reynolds, GA. Phone: 478-847-5301. Email: georgiastrawberryfestival@gmail.com. Open: see their website for this year's date and times. Directions: Map of Reynolds, GA. It is FREE to get in. This festival is Handicapped accessible. They will have a Teddy Bear Parade (which begins at 10 am), a Grand Parade, Arts and Crafts, a Car / Truck Show, Photography Show, Lawn Mower Races, a Cook-off, an Old Book Sale, and a Main Street Stage.  You can find much more specific information about what is going on with the Strawberry Festival on the "Press" Page. Farm Strawberry Festivals

In addition to community and church festivals, some private farms have their own strawberry festivals in June.  See each farm for this year's dates (they often do not announce them until the end of May).   • Jaemor Farms - Jaemor Farms Annual Strawberry U-pick Event, Saturday,  Saturday typically in late April, our u-pick strawberry patch will be open from 10a-5pm. *Last entry sold at 4pm.

  • Mitcham Farm Strawberry Festival Makin' Memories Pickin' Strawberries - usually late April or early May, in 2022, Saturday, April 30th & Sunday, May 1st (10 AM to 6 PM)
    Mitcham Farm, 797 Macedonia Church Rd, Oxford, Georgia 30054. Don't miss the 6th Annual Srawberry Festival at Mitcham Farm! This event is fun for the whole family with something for everyone! The festival features u-pick strawberries, pre-picked strawberries and other specialty food items for sale, craft vendors, food and drink, live music, hayrides, pony rides, helicopter rides, farm animal viewing area, tractor demonstrations, and other fun! Strawberry picking will be open while supply lasts. The farm is located just 30 miles east of downtown Atlanta, less than 5 miles from Interstate 20.  In 2021, Admission $5, Children 3 and under FREE
