It looks like most festivals are returning, aside from those that were killed off by the lockdowns of the past 2 years. That took a heavy toll on their finances. I am checking with them day by day, if you have an update for an, please tell me via the Feedback form.

There are two general types of strawberry festivals 1) community festivals, usually organized by a church, school, local Chamber of commerce or a town and 2). Strawberry festival held at and by a farm

They are different in what they offer, so they are grouped separately. (of course not all states and areas have both. And following the festival listings are links to our easy to follow directions about making strawberry jam, freezing strawberries, strawberry pies and much more. 

Community Strawberry Festivals

  • The Hollis Woman's Club Strawberry Festival - Sunday, late June From 2 pm to 4 pm.(check their website for this year's dates)
    Hollis Town Common, Hollis, NH. Annual Strawberry Festival and Band Concert. This fun family event  features fresh local strawberries, homemade strawberry shortcakes, strawberry sundaes and ice cream!
  • Covey House / Historic Society Annual Fitzwilliam Strawberry Festival - Frinday in Late June, from 1 pm to 4 pm
    Village Green , Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire. Covey House will be open for this event and invites you to discover all that Fitzwilliam has to offer.
  • Cruisin' the Berry Old Days Strawberry Festival - late June, 1-7 p.m.  see their website for this year's date
    Bow Mills United Methodist Church, 505 South Street, Bow, New Hampshire.  Phone: 603-228-1154. Classic cars, vendor displays, strawberry delights bake sale, pie contest, live music, live animals, demonstrations and our Ye Old Country Feast and Strawberry Shortcake Meal featuring, chocolate covered strawberries, ham, baked beans, cole slaw, corn on the cob, breads, strawberry lemonade and strawberry shortcake. 3 seatings at 1:00, 4:30 and 6 pm 2009 Tickets: $10/adults, $5/6-12, 5 and under free!   • Hampstead Congregational Church Annual Strawberry Festival - early June, from 9 am to 3 pm

There will be food, fun for kids, shopping from local vendors, and of course- strawberry shortcake! The event has both indoor and outdoor activities, and is rain or shine. This event is free, and a perfect "all ages" event.
  • Kingston First Congregational Church Annual Strawberry Festival - Saturday in mid-June 17 from 9am to 2pm UPDATE for 2023, There is nothing on their website about it, as of early May 2023 - call them, email them or keep checking their website

Our yearly event promises to be as delicious as ever with great lunches and strawberry desserts served inside our Rent Fellowship Hall, a church-wide white elephant/yard sale area, and individual yard sale spaces outside on the church lawn. This is a rain or shine event. You won't want to miss our "world famous" Strawberry Shortcake! Start at . 8 am Pancake breakfast with sausage, coffee and juice..  Then 11 am Lunch on the grill with hamburgers and hotdogs. All day long you can shop at our yard sale under the tent, buy baked goods, eat strawberry shortcake or sundaes and take tours of the church. Come join us for breakfast, lunch, and music. And of course we will have our big rummage sale under the tent. All are welcome!

  • Windham NH Annual Strawberry Festival and Book Sale - Saturday in early June; June 3, 2023 from 11am to 5pm

Farm Strawberry Festivals

In addition to community and church festivals, some private farms have their own strawberry festivals in June.  See each farm for this year's dates (they often do not announce them until the end of May).
