It looks like most festivals are returning, aside from those that were killed off by the lockdowns of the past 2 years. That took a heavy toll on their finances. I am checking with them day by day, if you have an update for an, please tell me via the Feedback form.

Wisconsin 2024 Strawberry Festivals - Where, When and More Details!

There are two general types of strawberry festivals 1) community festivals, usually organized by a church, school, local Chamber of commerce or a town and 2). Strawberry festival held at and by a farm

They are different in what they offer, so they are grouped separately. (of course not all states and areas have both. And following the festival listings are links to our easy to follow directions about making strawberry jam, freezing strawberries, strawberry pies and much more. 

Community Strawberry Festivals

  • Alma Center Strawberry Festival - Friday, Saturday and Sunday Jmid-une , most events on Saturday (They wait until the last minute to announce the date and details, so you must see their Facebook page
    Highway 95, Alma Center, Wisconsin. Alma Center is known as the "Strawberry Capital" of Wisconsin. Every June, it hosts the Strawberry Festival. For family fun come enjoy the crafts, flea market, parade, carnival
    and best of all the "Strawberry Shortcake." Visit the picturesque Turtle Pond Park and experience the peaceful charms of small town Wisconsin
  • Cedarburg Strawberry Festival - Saturday and Sunday in late June from 10 am to 6 pm (June 25 & 26, 2022)

Strawberries mean summer in Wisconsin and we love to celebrate the most luscious fruit of the season at Historic Cedarburg's 22nd Annual Strawberry Festival. Thousands and thousands of festgoers descend upon Cedarburg each year for Strawberry Festival, an art-filled weekend brimming with the most luscious summer fruit. Come celebrate Cedarburg's 33rd Annual Strawberry Festival, sponsored by BMO Harris Bank, . This free, family-oriented festival is a favorite of many, drawing up to 100,000 people annually to celebrate the strawberry, enjoy live music, browse and purchase original artwork from hundreds of artists, and enjoy some of the most decadent homegrown strawberries in the area.  Strawberry Festival's many food vendors are a huge draw to the festival, and sure to please any palate. Festival Food Court favorites include the "Original" Strawberry Brat, Strawberry Shortcake, Strawberry Chicken Wrap and Strawberry Lemonade. Throughout the festival foodies will find strawberry pie, strawberry crepes, strawberry slushies and chocolate-covered strawberries as well as many other locally made delicacies. Schmit's Berry Farm, a local grower, provides the festival with the most ripe and juicy strawberries, available for purchase by the quart. The festival also boasts an extensive Festival Food Court, offering everything from summer favorites like hamburgers, chicken, BBQ and roasted corn, to sweet treats and specialty foods. The popular Sunday morning all-you-can-eat Strawberry Pancake Breakfast takes place on the north end of the Festival grounds from 8:00-11 am (weather permitting) and is served by the Cedar Creek Settlement merchants. More than 1,000 customers get their fill of mouthwatering strawberry pancakes while listening to live music outside along Cedar Creek.  For attendees with a taste for wine, Cedar Creek Winery's Strawberry Blush Wine is a must - this and the winery's other award-winning wines can be purchased by the bottle or glass. throughout the Festival.  Live music all over the Festival's Historic District satisfies every music lover. The best place to enjoy the music is at the Gruber Law Office Main Stage - Festival Food Court which will feature rockin' fun cover bands with shaded seating and is in close proximity to the main Festival Food Court.   For our littlest strawberry-lovers, Henry's Kids Korner at Cedar Creek Park offers pony rides, a petting zoo, inflatable bounce houses, food vendors, dancers, clowns, interactive performances from Mr. Pickles sponsored by Country Air Rides and lots of other activities. One of the Festival's most popular events is the CedarQuacker 500 sponsored by Port Washington State Bank, where hundreds of rubber ducks are launched into the creek in a race to the finish Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 and 3 pm
  • Colonial Club StrawberryFest - Saturday in mid or late June - from 10 am to 3 pm
    301 Blankenheim Lane, Sun Prairie, WI. Phone: 608-837-4611. Email: info@colonialclub.org. Held for over 30 years. Many activities: breakfast and lunch, skateboard competition, used book and dvd sale, 5k and 10k run/walk, bake sale, children's carnival. The main attraction for our annual festival is the 1,000 quarts of fresh, home-grown strawberries from Kirshbaum's Strawberry Acres for sale. There is also an Indoor/Outdoor Craft Fair - Get ready to shop until you drop as you stroll the festival grounds! Of course, they will be serving a wide selection of strawberry-themed treats, such as strawberry shortcake and strawberry sundaes. Plus, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch and so much more. The Rummage and Used Book Sale has novels and children's books to science fiction and biographies, we just might have your favorites for sale. We also sell used CDs, videos, puzzles, and DVDs. Browse the many other items that will be for sale. And come enjoy the live entertainment on our outdoor stage.
  • Strawberry Festival at St. Mary's Episcopal Church Dousman - Sunday in late June, Sunday typically in late June  from 11 am to 3 pm
    36014 Sunset Dr., Dousman, WI 53118. Phone: (262) 965-3924. Strawberry Fest will take place at St. Mary's . The event, with all proceeds benefiting the Diocese of Milwaukee Haiti Project, features strawberry desserts and pies, a sandwich grill, used book sale, HAWS mobile adoption unit, Haitian art, bake sale, LIVE MUSIC, and Children's activities! ALL are welcome!

Farm Strawberry Festivals

In addition to community and church festivals, some private farms have their own strawberry festivals in June.  See each farm for this year's dates (they often do not announce them until the end of May). COME JOIN US FOR A FUN FILLED TIME & HELP CELEBRATE THE SEASON!
